A Barbara Walters Exclusive
Last week, I had the privilege of being interviewed by one of the toughest blog correspondents this side of the Atlantic – Dean Abbott of Notes and Meditations. At times, I was flustered by his no-nonsense interview style, but with my publicist’s guidance, I think I came across as fairly sympathetic.
When you get a minute, check out his site to read the controversial conversation that will not be aired on any other blog. Thanks for the interview, Dean – it was a lot of fun!

How fun! I always love checking your site because it’s like reading a collection of humorous essays. It’s only a matter of time before you turn them into a compilation with a foreward by Amy Sedaris.

Cruise-Lauer
You don’t know, Jenny. You just don’t know. Sure you’re a great writer and all, funny, witty, clever, blah, blah, blah. . . blah. But when you step over the line into the land of psychiatry, you’re going to have to deal with Mr. Tom Cruise, because he’s STUDIED it. He’s read things. He knows.
HE knows. YOU don’t.

Loved the interview. Tom has never helped me with my issues either. Maybe I should join a jug band.

Dear Jenny,
Great interview! Only you could give up tap for jug band. I wonder what’s next, balloon piloting?
By the by, congratulations on your first year!
Love,
Vivian

Aww, thanks, folks! It was a lot of fun to do. And as soon as I get my hot air balloon license, I’m going to fly over Tom Cruise’s house and drop eggs. Rotten smelly green eggs. And ham.
Psst… Tom Cruise is L. Ron Hubbard’s bastard son. Pass it on!

Hey, anyone who bans listening to and playing jug band music deserves to rotten, smelly, green eggs and ham dropped on their house!
Awesome interview!!

It is a great interview, Jenny – well done!
Say, I’ll be in Chicago at the end of November/beginning of December. If you aren’t freaked out by meeting fellow bloggers (translated – people from the internet) I’d love to have a drink.
