Your cat is so calm! My cat sees yarn and turns into an evil little furry who will only stop when he has drawn blood.

Pretty color. Pretty kitty! But unless you’re a cat, a ball of yarn isn’t nearly as entertaining as what you have to say. But that’s okay! Don’t listen to me! Knit all you want!

I’m loving your choice of wool colour! And your special knitting needles… I’m jealous, mine are just plain old bamboo.

You’re not leaving us for knitting, are you?

pants: well, if you look carefully in that last picture, you’ll see the hatred in his eyes.
don: thanks! although i don’t know… that ball of yarn and i have had some pretty interesting conversations lately.
serap: thanks! i’m in love w/ the needles, too – my friend’s mom started this company – signature needle arts – making them. they were the talk of the knitting circle…
kapgar: no, no. but i have to finish this scarf. my self-esteem and neck-warmth depend on it!

Green looks much better on your cat than that pink sweater would have!

i think we have officially become the same person.

I think you’ve found the next new names for your cats: Boy Cat = Knit, and Girl Cat = Purl.

I don’t know why I haven’t gotten into nursing. I don’t think my ADD could handle it. Video games seem to work better for me.

Apparently, I’m smoking crack. I meant knitting. I won’t be nursing anytime soon either though.

kilax: true, although the pink would’ve hidden my blood more effectively, after my cats shred me for making them wear a sweater.
kat!: you might be right… what with the boxed wine and penchant for model ships and all!
shari: not bad! not bad at all!
churlita: your comment totally cracked me up. i was all… when did i write about nursing? and what was i drinking?

Cat looks so dashing in his new lime green sweater. And its sleeveless, neck-less stylings make it both comfortable and a good project for beginners.

Thanks for the link Jen… I think I have just found the perfect christmas gift for my stitch and bitch hostess (my housemate’s mum!).

cheryl: it’s really versatile as well – could be a sweater, could be a belt, could be an ascot… depends on his mood.
serap: you have stitch ‘n bitch groups in the UK, too? very cool – that’s what i went to last week! and i think i might add a few more sets of those needles to my xmas wish list as well…
